Real-Life Batman Dies After Crash In Batmobile

A local hero who visited sick children in hospitals dressed as Batman was killed on Sunday night when his Batmobile broke down on a highway.

A local hero who visited sick children in hospitals dressed as Batman was killed on Sunday night when his Batmobile broke down on a highway.

Lenny B. Robinson had pulled his car over on Interstate 71 in Maryland and got out to check his engine. As he did a Toyota Camary struck his car propelling the Batmobile into Robinson and killing him.

The Capped Crusader had donned the costume and visited children since 2001. The idea started after he dressed up as Batman for his son, but then noticed how other children reacted to the get-up.

“These visits provide an immediate boost for these kids," Jeffrey Dome, the oncology division chief at Children’s National Medical Center in Northwest Washington, told the Washington Post in 2012. "Some of these children have to stay for weeks or months at a time. ... A visit from a superhero is sort of like a fantasy in the middle of all this hard-core therapy."

Robison became Internet famous after cops pulled him over in 2012 on Route 29 for having his license plates adorned with Batman symbols. Video of the police encounter made him an instant online hit.

The Dark Knight believed that children were drawn to the character because of Batman’s easy relatability.

“Batman is the only super hero that doesn’t have super powers,” he said. “He’s naturally a super hero. Kids can relate to me a lot better.”

Lea Salonga At Her Best in Miss Saigon 25th anniversary

Exclusive: Miss Saigon celebrated a rare milestone this week, its 25th anniversary.
To mark the occasion, a gala performance of the show took place in London and saw original members of the 1989 cast take to the stage to join the current company, for the ultimate musical theatre finale.
The event took nine months to put together and someone who was rightly smiling from ear-to-ear, was producer Sir Cameron Mackintosh.
Speaking exclusively to Metro.co.uk, where they joined him and the cast on a confetti-laiden stage, he said: ‘I’m so proud of where people have gone to and grown from this material.

‘[Miss Saigon] will be performed long after I’m dead. I’ve always thought that this could make the best film of all musicals.’
But while he wouldn’t be drawn on who he would like to see play the roles on the big screen, he certainly wouldn’t be short on offers.
Lea Salonga and Simon Bowman – who originated the west end roles of Kim and Chris – felt that a movie adaptation was ‘inevitable.’

‘A cameo would be great!’ Enthused Salonga. ‘Hide us in the back somewhere, just so we can say we were a part of it.’
‘Or holding on to the tail of the helicopter,’ joked Bowman.
It’s crazy to think it having gone on to play roles such as Roxie Hart in Chicago and Fantine in Les MisĂ©rables, but Ruthie Henshall started out as a member of the Miss Saigon ensemble: ‘I was Bar Girl Number Three!’
She’s backing actress Carey Mulligan as a potential contender for the role of Ellen in a cinema outing: ‘She’d be amazing, she would blow that away.’
Adding: ‘If anyone can make a Miss Saigon movie happen, it’s Cameron.’
The ball is firmly in your court Sir Mackintosh.
Miss Saigon is currently playing at the Prince Edward Theatre, London. Tickets are available now. A brand new cast recording, The Definitive Miss Saigon Live Recording, is out now too.

Just call it a VLBD - a very little black dress.
Heidi Klum set a blistering sexy style pace at the Radio City Music Hall in New York on Tuesday night.
The 42-year-old supermodel wowed as she strutted her way down the red carpet at the America's Got Talent Quarter Finals.

Looking smoking as always, the judge showed off plenty of skin a very short little black dress.
The German beauty's frock featured cut outs across her stomach and side with a plunging neckline.
The only thing standing between Heidi and a wardrobe malfunction was some strategically placed gold sun shaped brooches that connected the frock's fabric.

Despite the striking nature of the embellishments, they could not manage to distract from the stunning star's physique and impeccable tan.
The 42-year-old stunner kept with her endless summer theme complimenting her golden tan and gold embellished dress with a pair of gold Giuseppe Zanotti Heels.
Not done there, the model was given an extra Midas touch with gold nails and her sun kissed hair styled as if fresh off the beach.

Heidi's look certainly scored top points from fellow judge Howie Mandel, who was literally stopped in his tracks as Heidi posed up a storm on the carpet.
Impressed by her look, Howie got out his iPhone and snapped lots of pictures of her outfit even crouching down to make sure he captured her shoes.
The star was given a little run for her sparkle money by the The Rockettes, who joined her on the carpet wearing silver and bronzed sequined looks.
While she did not need it, once inside for the live show Heidi headed straight to the makeup chair to get a little touch up.

As she prepared for the show to get underway, the star snapped a few pictures for her Instagram including a shot of Mel B and Howie.
While the trio looked happy enough, Heidi seemed to thing she was the only one bringing the sunshine to the night.

The star captioned a selfie: 'Are the other judges being grumpy?
On Tuesday's episode, there is 12 performances with fans then weighing in to see who should be saved.

Prison Break Returns: 9 Characters Who Must Be Part of the Revival

Prison Break Returns: 9 Characters Who Must Be Part of the Revival

When it come to Fox's officially announced Prison Break revival, this much yahoo know:

As TVLine reported in June , the action-thriller is returning in 2016 as a 10-episode event series - with both Wentworth Miller and Dominic Purcell (who now star and recur on The CW's medseason superhero series Legend of Tomorrow) on board, as escape artist Michael Scofield and onetime Death Row inmate Lincoln Burrows.

Also, the revival is the handiwork of series creator Paul Scheuring, who in fact is adapting an idea he had at the time that he and Prison Break parted ways. As such, it will need to account for Michael’s fatal sacrifice on behalf of wife Sara, which capped the drama’s four-season run.

“Paul is very cognizant of [that death],” Fox CEO Dana Walden has said. “At the point that Paul left the show, he had certain [storyline] ideas but was not interested in staying with the show full-time.  So I would say to those fans, ‘This is the pure vision of the creator of the show.’ It’s going to take a little detour from where we left off, but it should feel very satisfying.”

Who knows? The 10 Wealthiest Women Around The World

The 10 Wealthiest Women Around The World

When it comes to women with money, rightly or wrongly, people tend to assume they either come from money, or married in to it. On this list there are definitely women who received a huge head start in life by being born to the right (extremely rich!) parents, but that doesn’t mean they are spoiled airheads! Not every heiress acts like Paris Hilton, these women earned their “richest women” title by working hard with what they had, and making it grow in to even more. Sure, they may be billionaire babies, but they’re the rare form of rich kid who decided to be disciplined and work hard, rather than post the spoils of their wealth on Instagram all day.

You may not have heard of some of them, but trust me, they’re powerful! Heck, a couple of them are more powerful than the leaders of their country… because their bank accounts can actually buy them their own country! BeyoncĂ© who? She may be a billion dollar brand making $100 million a year, but her bank account is still not big as these women’s. Here’s ten of the richest women in the world that proves that females can play better than the big boys sitting on top of the ladder… because you know that they’d just kick them off that ladder with their killer Louboutins.

HOLLY BRANSON @ NUMBER 10

Holly Branson is the daughter of billionaire daredevil, Sir Richard Branson. Before you complain that she got rich because of her pedigree— think again. Miss Holly is one smart cookie. She finished med school and worked in the neurology department of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. So, she knows how to mess with your brain. Do you want to be lobotomized? Because I’m pretty sure that behind that pretty face, lies a dark side that comes out when you mess with her!
Holly is also very involved with her father’s empire. She goes around the world and helps with charitable causes. However, that might be halted for a bit. She’s expecting twins!
